Kevin Alessandri

Co-Founder, Chief Technical Officer and Vice President USA • TreeFrog Therapeutics

Initially trained in biophysics, Kevin Alessandri worked on cell encapsulation technologies during his PhD thesis at the Curie Institute in Paris, France, and post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. After meeting stem cell scientist and co-founder Maxime Feyeux in 2014, he invented biomimetic C-Stem technology in 2015 and incorporated TreeFrog Therapeutics in 2018 with the aim of providing access to safer, more efficient and more affordable cell therapies to millions of patients. Following a recent $75M Series B financing, Kevin Alessandri will move to Boston, MA, in 2022 to lead the newly created U.S. subsidiary of TreeFrog Therapeutics.
