Piers Slater

As founder of Reef Group in 2001 and Chief Executive Piers brings over 30 years of experience with a successful track record across all sectors including mixed use regeneration projects including leisure, offices, hotels, and multi-family which in recent years has extended to the knowledge sector at scale.  With co-Director Will Rohleder he leads the expansion of the recently launched Forge Knowledge platform, a knowledge economy joint venture between Reef and UBS, across the UK and with global ambitions encompassing Life Science, Cell & Gene Therapy, Healthcare, Medtech, Data, Space and Advanced Manufacturing.  Having invested in the data economy since 2014 and co-founded Digital Reef in 2020 Piers is very passionate about the opportunities that exist in the co-location of Life Science, green energy, and digital infrastructure to bring Zero Carbon Futures across all Reef projects
