Scott Jones

Dr. Jones received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Texas A&M University and a Doctorate in Microbiology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He did his Post Doctorate work at The Texas Center for Infectious Disease where he was the Director of the TB-RFLP Laboratory. Dr. Jones’ expertise includes blood screening testing, cell and gene therapy testing and analytical assay development and he has developed NAT assays for HIV-1, HCV, Parvo-B19, HAV and HEV. Since joining BioBridge Global in 1999, Dr. Jones has been instrumental in the organization’s expansion of R&D capabilities and strategic thought leadership in regenerative medicine. He has authored and presented numerous oral and poster presentations at the South Central Association of Blood Banks (SCABB), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and the Congress of International Society of Blood Transfusion annual meetings and serves as an active member of SCABB and AABB
